No. 8. Take a Holiday by myself for the first time. COMPLETED!

What are you afraid of?
I'm afraid that when I'm away something will happens or I miss my flight back and cant get home. Also that there might be an incident that I can't handle on my own while i'm out there.
What's the challenge?
To fly to another country by myself  and spend my holiday on my own.
How was the experience?
Day 1: Day one I got up at 2.30am nervous about the plan ahead, my dad gave me a lift to calm my nerves and to save money on parking. Security always scared me but went though fine and got to Dublin in time and ready for the bus, to then have some trouble with my ticket after some words everything got sort and I was on my way to the hotel. Left my bags at the hotel, so I could go and explore the beautiful island of Bray. First destination the beach, great weather, beautiful scenery and lovely locals. I decided in my crazy mind to walk the cliff of bray, which frightened me with the height and the big drop if I made the wrong step, I ended up in Greystone which was a bit to far to get back to the hotel. Panicked set in while trying to ring a local taxi to find out that my phone wouldn't let me call in Dublin, so I asked a lovely local to direct me in the right bus or taxi rank, She asked where I was staying and she offered me a lift, it was really nice to see local people nice and helpful.

Day 2:
Got up for 7am to get my Buffer breakfast (Irish) after that went back to my room to get ready and head to Dublin, so my train was about a 40 min walk down the hill, picked up the train to head to Dublin. so online I purchased the Dublin Pass and I had to go to the shop to get it process, if you have ever gone to Dublin you will know its hard to find anything, so it took me about 30 - 60 mins to find the shop. so part of the Dublin pass you can get on the hop on tour bus which is great to find all the places. First I ended up in The Irish Rock 'n' Roll Museum Experience which consist of a tour with a group of people about Irish music, got to see U2 room, Micheal Jackson jacket and PJ and lots of story about great rock stars. Then I got very lost looking for the wax museum after spending 3 hours I found it. Let say that this wax was OK, not as good as London wax and very small, I spent about 30 mins to get round and out again. So I got lost again looking for the train stations and it was getting very late asked a local and found the train. Got back to the hotel for 8pm.

Day 3:
Again I had waken at 7 am and had the same breakfast, catch the train to Dublin and jumped on the bus to the next destination. I headed to the famous Dublin Zoo and was not disappointed. The weather was good and the zoo was empty so it made the animal be more animal like, a lot more interaction to be seen and animal showing the public the way they play. Also the zoo was getting ready for there Japanese light show, which gave me the opportunity to take some really arty photos. if you are in Dublin after November to December please check out the light show as with there lights off they look amazing, so imagine what they look like all bright to the world. I then head to the world famous Guinness Factory, loved the tour and they really do make it fun for everyone that attends but I really don't like Guinness after that headed back to the hotel for the evening.

Day 4:
Thursday I spent most my time lost in Dublin and shopping my euros away. Went to the best shopping area called the Grafton which is weird as we have a Grafton Cambridge. After a long day walking around I sat down for dinner T.G.I.Fridays, spent my euros on some yummy garlic bread and a burger. Unfortunately the service was a bit terrible and I was deflated by the whole experience. head back to the hotel early so I could get to Bray Cex before it shut to purchased a game i had seen a couple of days before. Got back to the hotel and decided to us up my euro on the chicken wings and steak and it was the best steak i have ever had, if you are staying in the Wilton Hotel try the steak you won't regret it.

Day 5:
I could really sleep on the this day due to the worry that I would mess up on bus back, well i was worried that I would be on the wrong side for my bus and he would just drive back. I got up at 3am and headed to the bus stop after lots of research on the bus service I knew which side to stand on. I started to worry again to the point of crying when my bus didn't turn up on time. Their was about four others waiting for the same bus as i asked if they were here for the same reason. The bus turned up 20 mins after and I was on my way to the airport. I was pretty early and was stopped at security for some liquid that was in my day bag. I spent my hours trying to stay awake and doing puzzle till my gate was open. I flew back with eases and was met by dad and happy to be home. got home and straight to sleep for me.

Overall I loved the holiday even though I spent half of it lost, I realised that asking for help isn't that hard and scary. Would I do it again? Probably not on my own. Lot of people would say have you found yourself? I would say I found anxiety but the closes I found was on top of the cliff on my first day and not giving up on completing the cliff.

If you love it please read the next one, as there are many more to come and more little adventure to complete. Photos below.
